AAA Ohio Motorists Association (OMA) originated as the Cleveland Automobile Club on January 8, 1900, making it the oldest of 80 independent clubs that make up the American Automobile Association in the U.S. and the Canadian Automobile Association in Canada. In February 1929, the OMA Club opened the first ticket sales office in the Midwest permitted by airlines to sell tickets to the public.

AAA Business Travel, established in 1977 as a dedicated department of AAA Ohio Motorists Association, is a full service travel agency specializing in corporate and incentive travel. AAA Business Travel's distribution is 90% corporate and 10% incentive/meeting travel.

Headquartered in Heathrow, Florida, AAA offers membership services dedicated to meeting the safety and security needs of motorists.

Today, OMA is the eleventh largest AAA/CAA club, serving over 625,000 members through 17 district offices in Northeast Ohio, in addition to its AAA Business Travel, group travel, and reservation center departments.  Each district office includes an AAA Travel agency that is fully accredited by ARC and IATAN, and is automated with the Apollo ® reservation system. 

As a department of AAA Ohio Motorists Association with a combined travel agency sales volume of over $51 million, AAA Business Travel can call on more than 1,100 affiliated  AAA Travel offices throughout North America for customer service. AAA Business travel is a member of AAA Travel Management Network, a consortium of AAA Travel agencies in the U.S. In addition, we belong to the Greentree Travel Consortium and CLIA (Cruise Line International Association).

AAA Ohio Motorists Association is operated under the guidance and supervision of a board of corporate members and trustees composed of local business and civic leaders. OMA is a fully tax paying, not-for-profit Ohio corporation.
